There are four levels of giving:

Founder’s Level:   $2500 and above

Director’s Level:   $1201 to $2499

Partner Level:       $601 to $1200

Friend Level:        gifts up to $600

Giving Monthly

Various option for giving are available, however the best way to give is by scheduling a monthly payment.

  • Create an electronic monthly draft from your bank. Simply give your bank our name (Mount Jubilee Ministries, Inc) and mailing address (P.O. Box 81, Reidsville, NC 27323) and they will send a recurring check at the same time each month.
  • PayPal offers a recurring donation option. Select the “Make this a monthly donation” checkbox when you donate.

Funding Requirements

Camp Jubilee for 48 campers with
60 volunteers

Cost: $15,000

For one week each summer, Camp Jubilee features a residential camp for teen and adult friends with I/DD. What an exhilarating time for them! Campers come back year after year, and parents testify their children have eagerly anticipated the camp since the day they left the previous year. MJM collaborates with The Betsy Jeff Penn 4H Educational Center in Reidsville to host camp. This relationship has provided additional programs such as canoeing, archery and horseback riding at a fully accessible camp facility. Our goal each year is to offer a one-on-one camper/counselor ratio with a volunteer staff. Keeping the camper tuition as low as possible through a volunteer staff, the cost of camp each year exceeds the camper tuition by approximately 46% leaving a need of $15,000.

Public awareness/marketing on the emerging
issues impacting teens adults with I/DD

Cost: $5,000

Our goal for outreach to friends with I/DD and their families is to provide information on emerging issues and needs within the population. We want MJM is to be known throughout the community as the “go-to organization” for information and services to help meet the unmet needs. Expansion through aligning specific marketing materials of professional quality with target audiences will need to be developed.

Touch Point seminars (two per year)

Cost: $1,000

The education on pertinent issues to families and caregivers, has served as a valued supportive arm of MJM. The time of shared comradery in the “trenches” gives encouragement and best practice information to those who attend.

Comprehensive needs assessment to
identify additional program opportunities

Cost: $5,000

MJM recently developed a comprehensive strategic plan to define its scope of work for 2018 and beyond. Included in that work is research to determine the feasibility of additional programs and services which may include supported employment, volunteer opportunities, education, vocational training, and eventually, a residential community.
MJM’s vision is to provide a community environment that embraces adults with special needs and offers programs and services which allow each individual to live to their fullest potential.

Organizational Sustainability for 12 months
(Executive Director, Program Director, Two Instructors, Administrative Assistant)

Cost: $132,500

With the growth of MJM, the Board of Directors recognizes the mounting importance of staff expansion to guide our growth. Seeking to oversee the existing programs and advance the vision of MJM, an executive director is necessary for organizational stability and perpetuity. The modest annual salary for executives of nonprofits in Piedmont NC is $50,000. To develop the day program in 2019, MJM will need to hire a program director at $35,000 and two instructors at a total cost of $37,500. With this staff in place, MJM will build the foundation for additional programs, services and staff to be added as growth continues. At this printing, the only salary being paid is $15,000 annually for a part time executive director.
